With the degradation of product quality across the board since the Great Recession of 2008-9, and then Covid, it has been very difficult to source products that are suitable for use. In this case, cold weather wire. I use a portable fuel tank for our forestry business in northern MN where temps in winter require power cable that can remain reasonably flexible in below zero temps, something you used to be able to find if you shopped around. Even thinking of/trying supposed ‘ultra cold temp’ extension cords, but they aren’t even close to what they’re claiming-at all! Then you do your internet research and find Polar Wire, guess what? Problem solved-quality product!! Works EXACTLY as advertised-flexible, durable wire that works in cold temps—DONE!
