Custom Cables Limited Lifetime Product Warranty
Polar Wire Products Inc. offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original buyer for custom cables manufactured by Polar Wire and identified with our Limited Lifetime Warranty seal. Polar Wire warrants the materials and workmanship of participating cables for the lifetime of the product, such that the cables will perform under normal application, installation, and use, and will maintain mechanical and electrical integrity when used within operating specifications of the cables and components and in accordance with their original intent.
The term "lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the components and materials. While we choose the best materials available to make our cables as durable as possible, all materials degrade over time with use and exposure to the elements, and a cable's lifetime is a function of how much use it gets and how well it is cared for.
What Isn't Covered
The Lifetime Limited Warranty does not cover cables which have been repaired, altered, or subjected to negligent handling, transportation, storage, or use; or to improper installation, application, or unauthorized service; or to extraordinary salt or chemical exposure; or to power failure, surges, flood, fire, direct or indirect lightning strikes or other acts of nature; or to animals; or to accidental breakage, vandalism, explosions, acts of war, or other events outside Polar Wire's control. Cosmetic changes in appearance which do not affect the functionality of the cables are not covered.
The Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover any cost associated with cable installation, removal or reinstallation, shipping, damage to or loss of service of equipment, loss of use, loss of time, or similar expenses. Cable bags are not covered.
Making a Claim
To make a claim, bring in the cable or send pictures for our review. We may require proof of purchase or return of the cable. If we approve the claim, we will—at our option—repair, replace, or refund the cable. We reserve the right to deliver a cable of similar size, color, shape, and function in replacement of a warrantied cable.
Except as otherwise provided by applicable law, the foregoing remedies state Polar Wire Products's sole and exclusive obligation and the buyer's sole and exclusive remedy for a breach of the foregoing limited warranty. Polar Wire Products's aggregate liability, if any, in damages or otherwise, shall not exceed the purchase price paid to Polar Wire Products by the buyer for the product in the case of a warranty claim.
