Given that I have not had opportunity to use these cables due to the warm weather, I can only comment that the build quality is very impressive, every aspect shouts Heavy Duty. Until I can verify with use, I wholeheartedly give the item 4 stars (and not 5).

You will never see another brand of jumper cables built like these . Every aspect of these cables are superb quality. The clamps are like none I have ever seen. They are worth every penny of the money they cost.

I purchased 1/0 25' set for my father and 3/0 30' set for myself. My father taught me that you buy the best quality products you can afford and you will never be let down. Both sets of Polar Wire jumper cables are the highest quality industrial jumper cables I have ever owned. The conductor wires are very large and heavy, but also super flexible. The jaws are all copper and have heavy spring pressure for the ultimate secure connection. These are nothing like the copper clad aluminum crap you find in stores or on Amazon. Are these a bit pricey? Yes. Are these the highest quality jumper cables ever produced? YES. Will you ever need another set of jumper cables? NO. These were made to last several lifetimes!!! Polar Wire is the BEST Quality hands down, do not settle for anything less!!!

I live in central Florida. I operate heavy equipment for construction and tree removal. I have used these cables already. I am very impressed with the build quality. The first thing i noticed was the weight. Quite heavy. The build quality is exceptional. The cable material is flexible enough to work into tight compartments. The clamps/jaws are of exceptional quality. clamps are hard to depress with one hand, but i like that they will hold. jaws are connected with copper wire. connections are heat shrink wrapped. I can honestly state that these were worth the money. Probably the last set of jumper cables i will have to buy. 100% satisfied with the purchase and the function of this product.
